Novastar MRV208 LED Screen Receiving Card Display Control System Card

CALL

Description

The NovaStar MRV208 is a receiving card used in LED display systems (like LED video walls, advertising screens, stage backdrops, etc.).
Its job is to receive pixel data from the LED controller (sending box) and convert it into signals that drive the individual LEDs in each display module.

 Key Features & Specs

 Function

  • Receives data from the LED controller and sends it to the LED modules.

  • Works together with NovaStar controllers (such as MCTRL series).

 Pixel Capacity

  • Each MRV208 card typically supports 256 × 256 pixels at 60 Hz refresh (this can vary slightly depending on software settings and controller used).

 Connectivity

  • Uses multiple HUB75E ports to connect to LED modules (standard interface for LED panels).

  • Usually has 8 HUB75E connectors on the card for parallel RGB data.

 Data Handling

  • Handles multiple parallel RGB data channels so that colors and brightness are delivered smoothly and quickly to the LEDs.

 Calibration & Display Quality

  • Supports pixel-level brightness and color calibration, which helps make the display uniform and vibrant.

  • Can adjust dark or bright lines between modules for a cleaner image.

 Power & Environment

  • Operates on low DC voltage (around 3.3–5.5 V).

  • Designed for use in a wide range of temperatures (from cold to warm conditions typical in LED installations).

 Physical/Operational

  • Installed inside LED panels

  • Works in coordination with LED controllers via Ethernet

  • Multiple cards are used for large screens
