ROOT is co-created by HYM and renowned Asian industrial designer Vii CHEN (Chen Ruwei). The design intent is to blend into interiors like a quiet presence — ROOT transforms the traditional turntable into a piece of furniture. It doesn’t demand your attention; it lives with you. More than a sound system, ROOT redefines the relationship between music and space, making listening a natural part of everyday life.

Designer Vii CHEN has won over 20 international design awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, German Design Award, Japan’s Good Design Award (G-Mark), and the Golden Pin Design Award.
