Tone
The ES8 features Kawai’s exclusive Harmonic Imaging XL with 88-key piano sampling. This unique technology creates sounds with the highest level of detail and clarity possible.
Unique Speaker System
The ES8 features a surprisingly powerful stereo speaker system housed in two built-in enclosures.
USB Audio & Storage
USB to Device and Host capabilities provide a world of opportunity, including recording and playing digital audio, storing songs, playing song files and connectivity to computers.
Audio and MIDI Recorder
You can record and play MP3 or WAV files using a USB device. The ES7 also offers an easy to use, built-in 2-Track / 10-Song MIDI recorder.
Recorder
The ES8 offers an easy to use 10-Song / 2-Track built-in Recorder ideal for self-evaluation or capturing a moment of inspiration.
Virtual Technician
A skilled piano technician can personalize an acoustic piano’s sound and touch response. Kawai’s exclusive Virtual Technician does the same for the ES8 digital piano.
Pedals
Included with the instrument is the F10-H deluxe damper pedal with half-damper capability. The optional F20 dual pedal provides both a damper (with half-damper function) and soft pedal.
Metronome
A handy built-in digital metronome offers a variety of time signatures, perfect for practice. You can control the tempo and the volume of the metronome.
